Nicky & Alex . Valley Forge Family Photographer .

These boys toughed out the cold weather and were so well behaved! I loved all of their silly faces and just playing with them for the morning…it was such a treat! Here are a few of my favorites.

I loved hanging out in the train station with the boys. I think this might have been my favorite part of the shoot! Plus, we got the warm up which was an added bonus.

Lauren & her Sitar . Conshohocken Portrait Photographer .

For the past 5+ years, I’ve passed a spot on the side of the highway that is so gorgeous in the Fall, that I always tell myself that I have to shoot there sometime. I also always worry that I’m going to drive by one year and the trees are going to be gone and it’s going to have become a housing development or gas station. God forbid. So when my friend Lauren asked me to take some photos of her with her sitar, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to combine her shoot with mine. And let me tell you, no one can rock a beaded gold gown on the side of a highway like Lauren.

All of the people passing by in their cars must have thought we were quite crazy. It was totally worth it though!

And just because I don’t often get photos of me working, this is an iphone photo that Lauren took of me. Thank you Lauren. ;-)

Happy Snowy Saturday!

Baby Benito . Plymouth Meeting Newborn Photographer .

This is another oldie newborn session from last April that I just had to share. I had a great time hanging out with this family and loved all of mom’s great ideas for the shoot. And this goes without saying, but Benito was just the sweetest little guy.

These are a few of my favorites.

K Family . Malvern Family Photographer .

I love, love, loved my session with this family. Kate had contacted me to set up the shoot because her and her husband needed some new professional shots, they hadn’t gotten any photos together since their wedding and she wanted to include their two adorable dogs in some shots. She also wanted to include her parents in the shoot which I was very much excited about. I find that professional family photos are usually reserved for special occasions like weddings once kids have grown up and moved out…but really, why should that be the case? So anyway, in the heart of the fall I headed out to their home for the shoot. They were funny and quick to laugh and willing to tramp through the soggy weeds to sit on a dead tree trunk. What more could you ask for? Here are some of my favorites from their session.
